Spotify Wrapped is a yearly recap that shows your personalized summary of most-played songs, artists, genres, and listening Spotify stats from the past year.
Every year, millions of users search for one simple thing: When does Spotify Wrapped come out?
- ✅ Spotify Wrapped usually launches in late November or early December
- ✅ For the past four years, it’s released on a Wednesday
- 📅 Spotify Wrapped 2026 prediction: Wednesday, 2 December 2026 (not official, based on history of releases)
This page tracks Spotify Wrapped’s historical release dates and explains how we estimate future ones.
Spotify Wrapped 2026 predictor (based on historical data)
In the last four years, Spotify Wrapped was released in a very consistent pattern:
- 2022: Wednesday, Nov 30
- 2023: Wednesday, Nov 29
- 2024: Wednesday, Dec 4
- 2025: Wednesday, Dec 3
That makes Wednesday the most common launch day, and late November or early December the usual window for the Spotify Wrapped drop.
📅 When is Spotify Wrapped 2026? (tentative date)
Wednesday, 2 December 2026
Please note that this is not an official announcement from Spotify. This prediction is based on recent release patterns. Spotify can always shift the date depending on rollout plans, marketing, technical, or other reasons.
Looking at the historical data, the 2026 estimate continues the trend of:
- Mid-week releases (mostly Wednesdays)
- Early December timing
- Global rollout starting the same day
Because Spotify has kept this schedule for multiple years in a row, using the first Wednesday of December is the most reasonable prediction model.
That’s why Wednesday, 2 December 2026 is currently the best estimate for Spotify Wrapped 2026.

- Open the Spotify mobile app (iOS or Android)
- Look for the Wrapped banner on the home screen Or search for “Wrapped” in the Search tab
- Tap the story cards to view your stats.
When does Spotify stop counting your listening history?
Spotify doesn’t publish an exact cutoff date every year, but historically:
- Listening usually stops being counted sometime in October or early November
- Anything you play after that likely won’t affect that year’s Wrapped
- Spotify uses the remaining weeks to prepare the data and stories.
This is why playing more songs and music genres in November usually don’t affect your Wrapped results.
How long does Spotify Wrapped stay available?
- The Wrapped stories usually stay available until the end of the year or early January.
- The “Your Top Songs” for the year usually stay in your library permanently
- Once Wrapped is removed from the app, you won’t be able to rewatch the stories inside the Spotify app.
Why isn’t Spotify Wrapped showing up for me?
If you don’t see your Wrapped:
- Make sure your Spotify mobile app is updated
- Try logging out and back in
- Search for “Wrapped” in the Search tab
- Wait a bit as rollout can be staggered by region
For new or very inactive users, Spotify may not generate a full Wrapped for your accounts.
Can I see my old Spotify Wrapped?
- Once Spotify Wrapped is removed from the app, you can’t rewatch old Wrapped stories in the app
- Your Top Songs playlists from past years often remain in your library
- Some users save screenshots or screen recordings of their Wrapped stories
- You can use Spotify Wrapped alternatives to see your current Spotify statistics.
